Phase 01 / Technique

The first unit of this course is focused on efficient technical work and warm-ups to help center the students intonation in the keys of the etudes.

Phase 02 / Etude-Specific Techniques

In the second unit, we focus our attention on techniques needed specifically for each etude. Woking on these techniques separate from the music helps ground us in a state of ease and relaxation.

Phase 03 / Putting the Etudes Together

We learn the etude’s notes and apply our technical work in the third unit, starting from a place of strength and comfort. This promotes trust in one’s ability, and allows us to really listen to the music.

Phase 04 / Refinement

Our Practice Pack will help unlock a fourth phase, of polishing etudes to present something you’re truly proud of. This is the most fun stage!

This is a multi-chapter course, designed to break the learning process into bite-sized pieces that students can work through at their own pace. There is a video, written exercise, and explanation for every step of the way.
